Luke wanted a Rustic Look Kombi, but it was a tricky one and Luke and i can talk about the discussions that we have had.He was inspired by other Kombis that he came across while working in Japan. Finding the Right balance with Looks and Council was interesting but the Final look was worth it.

The Work Area Bench top fitted to the Kombi had to be a HPL, High Pressure Laminate. Luke wanted the Rustic look to go outside and flow with the Servery Bench. He Supplied a Silky Oak Slab and i made it into a swing up Bench. It was then Stained and 2k Finished.

The panel behind the Folding Bench was also lined with Rustic Panels to keep the look happening. I added some Condiment racks to the Cargo Doors held on by Small Pegs through a Stainless Eyelet. The overall look worked well and suited Lukes ideas of what he wanted.

The 240volt and 12volt was underway and there were wires and swiitches giong everywhere. I had holes going in like Swiss Cheese. Holes for Switches, Holes for Down Lights and Power Outlets.

More to come -
