Daniels Kombi is a nice Kustom Kombi that was is need of some finishing touches. The body work had all been done with some nice Mods done. You will notice the Kombi has been Shaved. Sliding Door, Rear Tailgate and Engine lid handles have been removed and Smoothed. The doors are operated by Door Poppers (solenoids) and Mechanical opening also. The Kombi has been Lowered by using Indian Automotive Beam Adjusters. The Front Nose has hasd the Indicators Smoothed and the Fresh Air Vent also Smoothed. Aftermarket Indicators have been fitted to the Bumper and Original Rims have been Colour Coded and White Wall trims have been Fitted. I look at Daniels Kombi as a good example of a Kustom Kombi without going Crazy and still looking good.
Daniel bought his Kombi to me for some Interior Finishing Touches. Here is a list of what he was after, Stereo System, Headliner, Compliant Rock and Roll, Kustom Door Panels, Power outlets through out, Move the Oil Pressure Gauge to where the Factory Clock sits, Remove any unnecessary wiring and Repair and Carpet through out.
When working on any wiring on Kombis i always try to put it all back to the way it was from Factory. This way its easier for everyone, that things are were there suspose to be. Nothing worse than to have extra Switches everywhere and ones sitting there doing nothing!!
As you will see Daniels Kombi was a Bit sad on the Interior.
The First thing was to take out all not needed. Daniel wanted to keep the Colour and Look of the Front seats so i Continued it through to the Rear Rock and Roll. The Stereo system that he chose was a Pioneer Headunit with Pioneer Splits for the front Doors. Splits in the Front Doors are a Good Choice.
The Front Seat Frame got the usual Black Carpet on them as it Covers alot of mess and the Rear Cargo area also.
A Compliant Rock and Roll was fitted so he can Cruise around with his Friends.
