The owner of this Kombi came to me requiring a Kombi to be used as an advertising vehicle. I sourced her this Panel with windows cut in. It has a 2l engine and Automatic. It was a project for someone else who ran out of time but he had already cut out most of the rust and stripped it back to bare metal. Made it easier to see what we were in for. 

There is a few BIG plans for this one but i wont go into too much detail as i dont wish to give too much away at the moment. You will just have to come back and see the progress.

We, the customer and i wanted to fit sliding windows in so we decided to find a written off  Kombi and use some donor parts.We cut the middle drivers side window frame out and then fitted and welded it into place.As easy as that!! Not really. Far bit of work to make it fit in the right position. Once i fitted the window frame i then fitted the sliding window. You shouldnt assume it will fit later. Best to try now than later with the paint job finished. As you can see from the photos i have also plated up the rear side windows as the owner needs it for her advertising signage. I am getting closer to putting colour on and i cant wait for that. With the colour and wheels we have chosen, this is certainly a Kombi that will stand out. Getting closer to starting the interior too. You will have to keep your eye out in Part 2 of the project.

There are a few more body mods and suspension mods to come. Another altitude adjustment on its way.
